Just Try to Smile

We are human beings that are capable of whatever we choose. There is a strength that dwells within. That strength comes from something unseen. The power that resides in every human being is quite extraordinary. You are a human being. Gather the strength from the knowledge that you can achieve exactly what you have set out to do. Hold your head high and decide that no matter what you are going to approach this life positively.

When we approach our struggles, problems and frustrations from a positive perspective we are more likely to find the answer we truly want. There is an infinite number of paths to take in life. Those paths will lead us in various directions. The great part is that no matter what path you are on now life, whatever that consists of, is trying to teach us through the experiences we need to put us on the right path for our very souls.

Call it Dharma, call it God, call it the great Tao, it matters not. What does matter is that you begin living toward that which makes you happy. We have become obsessed in this society to live by societal standards. Those standards are bringing us in a direction that doesn't even feel right to us and, yet we do it anyway. It is time we stopped. We must begin to listen to our hearts. That which makes us live toward love is the most perfect answer. Our families and friends will thank the brave who stand up and begin living toward the true path of humanity.

One of my favorite sayings is that we are spiritual beings having a human experience. Do you believe one second that our spirits, true self or higher self wants us to struggle in misery to keep up with societal standards? I do not.

We have an opportunity to experience the life of our dreams. We must be willing to do what it takes to get that life. There are many distractions and things to do on this planet. Begin to ask yourself what it is that truly brings you pleasure. I am not talking about just the worldly pleasures that we get to experience, although those can be quite wonderful if you look at it from a spiritual perspective. Our lives are complete in the here and now. It is up to each of us to take up that mantel and begin to truly live toward that which will help humanity to continue forward.

Exercises tend to be the best way to begin finding our true paths. Write out a problem that you see in the world. Then write out different ways that those problems could be solved. Do any of them really get you to feel your true self?
